Cinnamon Bread

Was pretty excited wanting to bake bread, I got this Cinnamon Bread premix from Phoon Huat.


After throwing everything into my bread maker and half way into making the machine broke down. I bid goodbye to my dear BM. I had to manually knead the dough. Thanksfully it turn out great, crispy on the outside.

Ingredients
1 packet Red Man Cinnamon Bread Mix (5g dry yeast included)
50ml milk
200ml water
1 egg

HappyCall Pan from Korea

I'm really excited over my new toy "HappyCall double sided pan" Order placed Aug 8 and shipment arrived from Korea at my house on Aug 18. It came in simple packing (A pan in a box)

Great ! I had a good time test driving my new toy. I cooked early dinner for my family yesterday and here's the dishes ....
Cooking is a breeze. No more messy & oily.

- Due to quick & fast cooking time, it's better to have your meat well marinated before sending to the pan for cooking.

- The cool part was, i didn't use any oil on the pan.

Bread & Butter Pudding

Ingredients :
2 slices of bread
softened butter
1 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
1/2 cup milk
1 egg

Method
1.Grease side & bottom of a ramekin with butter

2. Butter the bread generously on both side and arrange in layers in the ramekin

3. Mircowave milk for 1 mins. Beat eggs inot the warm milk & immediately pour the mixture over the bread. Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon on top

4. Bake for 20 mins or till brown & well risen

Embarked - 3 Jul 2011 The Railway Walk

A historic chapter closed for 88 years old Tanjong Pagar Railway Station.

Tanjong Pagar railway station began its journey way back in 1932 and has made its final mission on 30 Jun 2011.

To bid our last farewell. We got to walk and feel the railway track & leaving our footprint at Bukit Timah Railway station before it gets demolised.
Walking thru' the memories with my matching shoe ...

Baked Cheesy Crayfish

You really need to give the Crayfish a good clean wash and scrub, before baking it in the oven.

Very simple and tasty.

Spread some butter and sprinkle with shredded cheese onto the crayfish. Finally sent into the oven to bake.

Tada ... Yummy ....

We thought it's gonna rain, instead it was a bright hot sunny day. Here's our make do inno tent.
The kids has fruitful catch GA fish.

2 Tone Coconut Milk Agar Agar

The colour of the agar agar was beautifully separated.

This was my best shot

Ingredient
2 packet of red colour agar agar powder
1 packet of 500g coconut milk + a pinch of salt
1500ml water
490g fine sugar

Method
1. Bring agar agar powder, water & sugar to boil. Consistent stirring till boiled.
2. Finally add in coconut milk and bring to boil
3. Off fire and pour mixture into mould
4. Wala ... when cool and set. The agar agar will be in 2 tier colour (amazing huh ... )

Catcus Sweet Soup

This dessert is nice just that, it's a bit too heaty for me after drinking.

Ingredients
Catcus (skinned & diced it big)
Red Date
Dried Longan
Lotus seed
Lily buds (soaked)
Pandan leaves

Dump everything into the thermal cooker and boil.

Long Time No See Folks !

It sure has been a super long time since i surf and blog. I didn't even realise it was so so long ....

- Princess finally in P1 joining her brother.
- My mom sister, an aunt that is very dear to me has passed away on 11 Jan

Feb '11
- CNY

Mar '11
- My mom fall down after a bad push by passerby trying to overtake her infront at Dhoby Ghaut mrt area.
- Irresponsible person has caused my mom a big time, undergo operation due to hip bone broken.

Apr '11 .... things are slowly back into places. With me more busy, as my honeymoon period has been over. Mama can't help me much now with my housework chore lor.
